John Romanauski of Churchville, Pennsylvania died peacefully on March 18, 2018 at Symphony Manor of Feasterville. He was 90 years old.
John was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Peggy) for over 60 years.
He was born on January 16, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late John and Monica Romanausky, and was the father of the late Arlene Romanauski.
John was a graduate of Frankford High School. Upon graduation he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Semper Fi. He graduated Temple University then went on to earn his Masters Degree at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
During their retirement, John and Peggy spent the winters in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where they enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather, swimming, and jogging along the sandy beaches.
John is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Mark and Laura Romanauski; Craig and Lisa Romanauski; and Kurt and Colleen Romanauski, twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. His brother and sister in law, Michael and Betty Romanausky, and many nieces and nephews.
John will be laid to rest with military honors on Monday, March 26th at 1:00 pm, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Adminstration Building at 12:45 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
