Lawrence B. Grady of Holland died peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at his home with his beloved wife by his side. He was 75

Born in Philadelphia, Lawrence was the beloved husband of Katherine E. “Kitty” Carsley Grady for the past    52 years. He was the devoted son of the late William and Johanna Larthy Grady, brother of the late William Grady.

Larry was a resident of Holland for the past 50 years, a graduate of North Catholic High School, class of 1959. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and served with the Military Police.

Larry worked for Mack Transportation as a Truck driver for 40 years and was a member of Teamsters Local # 107. Larry was a active and devoted communicant of St, Bede the Venerable Parish for 50 years and was a former usher.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his sister Mary Clare Grady, a brother Joseph A. Grady and his wife Anna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Larry’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, from 10:00 am until his Funeral Mass 11:00 am. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Dominic’s Cemetery, Philadelphia. 

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Poor Clares Monastery, 1271 Newtown-Langhorne Rd. Langhorne, PA 19047.
