Audrey A. D'Agostine of Ivyland, formerly of Lahaska, died peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2018 at home. She resided with Grace, Vincent and Aubrey for the past 5 years. She was 83 years old.
She was the beloved wife of 42 years to the late Michael J. D’Agostine. Born in Newark, New Jersey she was the beloved daughter of the late George and Janet Hamilton Scholl.
Audrey was a proud and dedicated wife and mother. She loved to garden, to maintain a pristine home (even with a Dalmatian and Persian cat in residence) and to entertain guests. She had many friends and they cherished her loyalty, sense of humor and fun loving spirit. She loved music, movies (especially the old time classics) and especially enjoyed dancing. After her husband, Mickey, passed away in 2008 she began volunteering at Maureen M. Welch Elementary School. The children deeply loved reading to her, getting her help with their projects and making special cards for “Mrs. D”.
Audrey is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Diane L. Davis and her husband, Cleve, of Irvington, New Jersey; Donna J. Snyder and her husband, Bruce, of Tannersville, Pennsylvania; and Grace M. Deon and her husband, Vincent, of Ivyland. Also surviving are four dear grandchildren: Anthony, Amy, David, and Aubrey and three great grandchildren, Jordan, Sophia and Julia. Audrey is also survived by many siblings and their respective families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 10:30am to 11:45 am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Fuenral Mass 12 Noon at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road Holland, PA 18966. Interment will be Private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to A Women's Place, PO Box 299 Doylestown, PA 18901.
