Thomas M. Chiartas of Chalfont passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at his home.  He was 85.  Born Nov.11,1932 in Philadelphia.

Married on Nov. 22, 1959, Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Roberta A. Blackburn Chiartas.

Born in Philadelphia he was a son of the late James and Mary (Koutlou) Chiartas.

Tom retired from PECO in 1990. Thomas was known by many names, among them were ‘Tommy’, ‘Milt’, and ‘Greek’.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his children, Stephanie Flanagan (Daniel) of Perkasie and Victoria Fernandez (Christopher) of Perkasie.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Madison & Daniel Flanagan and Eric & Olivia Fernandez; and his sister, Estelle Mueller (the late Malcom).  Preceded in death by his siblings, brothers William, George (the late Lillian), John (Elizabeth) and sisters Cleo (Richard), and Dorothy (the late Manual).

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday March 16, 2018 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at Annunciation/Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church, 7921 Old York Rd., Elkins Park, PA 19027.  His interment will follow in Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge.
