Timothy P. O'Connor of Richboro died on Friday, March 9, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 54.
Born in Philadelphia, Tim was a resident of Richboro for the past 25 years and communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Parish. He was the beloved husband of Theresa A. O’Connor (Valenti) for the past 31 years, and son of Ann O'Connor (Mahoney) and the late Charles O’Connor. Devoted father of Timothy Patrick Jr., Shane Michael, Joseph Stephen, and Patrick James. Brother of Patty McCarthy (Jack), Michael O’Connor (Judy), Kevin, and Christopher O’Connor. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, along with great nieces and nephews.
Tim was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, class of 1981. He was an Electrician and proud member of IBEW Local Union #98 for the past 35 years.
Tim was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time fishing in Cape May, NJ and family vacations to Florida. He was also very active with youth coaching, including Northampton Township Little League, Council Rock South Ice Hockey, Holy Ghost Prep Ice Hockey, and Wintersport Royals. He was also a former Cubmaster for Troop 145 Richboro. In his spare time, he was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams.
Relatives, friends, and members of IBEW Local Union #98 are invited to attend his viewings Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 10:15 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro and to his Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA. Interment Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
