Anna Marie Kissell of Richboro and formerly of South Philadelphia and Tacony, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Sunrise of Lower Makefield.  She was 98.

Anna was the wife of the late Bernard F. Kissell Sr. and loving mother of the late Bernard F. Kissell Jr.

Anna was a proud “Two Streeter” and dedicated Mummers Fan and very proud of her South Philadelphia up bringing.  She was employed as a Welder at the Philadelphia Navy Yard during World War II and after settling down and marrying, devoted her life to her husband and family.  She enjoyed travelling all over from the Poconos to Ontario, Canada but above all else was steadfast in her devotion to her family.  She will be dearly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Surviving are her son Robert T. Kissell  and his wife, Eileen, of Ivyland; her grandchildren, Kimberly Massaroni (Chris) and Kristin Kissell (Alex Kinzey); and her great-grandchildren, Gianna and Olivia Massaroni; and her sister Catherine White.

In addition to her husband and her son, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph & Francis Aster; and her sister, Maryellen Shelus.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 10:30 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, Pa 18966.  Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
