Edward E. Harm of Langhorne passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018 with his loving wife and family by his side at Attleboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Langhorne.  He was 88.

Ed was the loving and devoted husband of Louise A. Smith Harm with whom he had shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John L. and Mary De La Rosa Harm.

At the age of 15 Ed moved to Croydon and played football for Bristol High School.  He went on to marry his biggest cheerleader, Louise, and they would spend 55 years in Croydon where they raised their three children, Don, Linda, and Kathy.

Ed was an entrepreneur having owned a beer distributor, Laundromat and eventually three Magic Touch Car Washes that still remain in operation under the same name today.

If you ask Ed what his biggest success was, he would have told you it was his family and how close they have remained to this day.  All of his children live close and every holiday they are together.  He couldn’t have been more proud to have watched his family grow over the years.

Ed was also a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Croydon, the Penndel American Legion, and the Bristol Alumni Athletic Association.

Lastly, Ed’s family would like to thank Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care and the staff of Attleboro Nursing & Rehabilitation for the compassionate care shown to Ed and his family during this difficult time.

In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his children, Donald Harm, (Anna Marie), Linda Feriod (Ken Shine) and Kathy Firth (Richard).  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jason Harm (Katie), Tricia Adams (Zac), Kevin Feriod, Bonnie Henshaw (Jeff), Jenna Moral (Andy), and Jonathan Firth; and his great-grandchildren, Christian and Ryan Moral, Naomi Harm, and Bradford and Smith Adams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank Foster, William Harm, and Betty Matusek.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and his Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 1305 State Rd., Croydon, PA 19021.
