David Richard Angelo, Sr. of North Wales died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his residence. He was 73.
Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Victor and Bessie (Dininni) Angelo.
David was a former resident of Horsham for over 30 years before recently moving to North Wales. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia. He was a former communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Horsham and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Joseph P. Keeney Council #8530. David had a distinguished career as an Accountant and had worked with various companies and retired as a General Ledger Accountant for the Pine Run Community in Doylestown in 2010. In his leisure, he enjoyed working with stained glass, painting, gardening and pet lover. David will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
David is survived by the mother of his children, Joanne Angelo of Richmond, VA, his children, Kathleen Maria Blalock and her husband Keith of Jamison, Mark Angelo and his wife Mai of Philadelphia and David R. Angelo, Jr. of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his 2 cherished grandchildren, Madeline and Christian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:30am on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. David’s interment with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
