Dylan McKinney
We are saddened by the tragic loss of our son Dylan; the son of Barry and Kathleen Sparks-Mckinney.
He was born on 01 June 1986 in Basel Switzerland and passed away on 15 March 2014 at 27-years-old. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His many friends in the Doylestown area where he resided with his family for 24 years will surely have special memories of Dylan and the ways he touched their lives.
Dylan was an avid BMX biker and enjoyed building bikes and modifying his cycles to the ultimate perfection. He attended a biking camp in central Pennsylvania for many summers honing his skills. He was also a highly accomplished and amazing drummer to which any musician who played with him will attest. Dylan had an uncanny rhythm and natural ability which drew him to drums early in his life. He played with many musicians in the area and bonded friendships with everyone he played with.
He was recently accepted to the Iron Workers Union where he anticipated a long and fruitful career.
He is our son, our love, and we know he is resting in peace. He will always be in our hearts, and hopefully yours too.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Dylan’s family from 10:00 AM, Friday, March 21, 2014 until his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will be private.
