Hilda Shupp of Holland died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Brunswick at Attleboro. She was 90.

Hilda was the beloved wife of the late John Shupp.

Born in Philadelphia and raised the North East Section, she was the daughter of the late Adam F. and Hilda M. Carlson Wozniak and sister of the late Lorraine Boyle.

Hilda has been a resident of Holland for the last 55 years and was a parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church.  She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls and worked in various clerical positions at Sears Roebuck until 1965.  Hilda was a strong-willed, independent woman with a great heart who lived life on her own terms.  She chose not to have children, but she devoted her life to her extended family and it was evident when she cared for her mother and her husband who was diagnosed with brain cancer.  Hilda took great pleasure indulging in her occasional martinis and in the visits from her nephew Michael Boyle.

Hilda is survived by her three nephews: William, Michael, and Robert Boyle and her six cousins: Marlene, Eileen, Darleen, Colleen, Lorleen, and Arlene.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Monday, January 29th, from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude, 3200 East 91st St. Chicago, IL 60617.
