Elsie Bridgwater of Holland died Monday, January 8, 2018 at her residence with her beloved family by her side. She was 102.

Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Archibald B. Bridgwater and the mother of the late Bruce Bridgwater and his wife JoAnn.

Born in Desborough, England she was the daughter of the late Ann Brown.

Elsie worked as a seamstress in England before and during World War II before immigrating to the United States in 1951.  She enjoyed time spent knitting items for friends and family, reading avidly, traveling with her husband, and wintering in Florida, but she cherished any and all time she spent with her beloved family.  Elsie will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love her.

Elsie is survived her loving son and his wife Stewart Bridgwater and Carol of Holland, her grandchildren Karen, Amy, Brian, Jenny, and Becky and her 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elsie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103.
