Mary was the beloved wife of the late William F. Mahoney. The two were married for 69 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Marie T. Noble Quinn.
Mary was a resident of Newtown for 35 years before moving to Twining Village over four years ago. Along with her late husband Bill, she was an active Parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Newtown.
Mary was a graduate of St. Hubert High School Class of 1943.She was extremely devoted to her loving family and possessed an enthusiastic spirit that was infectious to all. In her leisure, she volunteered at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne from 1980 through 2012 and was also the recipient of the 2012 Peggy O’Neill Senior Volunteer of the Year award. Mary was an avid bowler at Penndel Lanes and a fan of Villanova Basketball and Penn State Football. Mary was a devoted bingo player with her many friends at Twining Village. The family also wishes to thank the Wellness Center at Twining Village for their consistent, vigilant and loving attention, and Compassionate Care Hospice for their considerate, warm, and heartfelt care.
