On Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, Daniel Gibbons, loving father, brother, and uncle, passed away suddenly at the age of 61. Danny was the son of the late Paul and Marie Gibbons, and brother of the late Maryann Gibbons.

Danny will be lovingly remembered by his children and their mother, Maggie, Daniel Jr and Gail, his son in law Jesse Hunt, and his grandchildren Luke, Jesse and Rylee. Danny will also be fondly remembered by his seven brothers and sisters, Paul, Patti, Donna, Barbara, Eddie, Suzanne, Nell, his brother and sisters’ in-law, and all his nieces and nephews.

A native of Huntington Valley, Danny attended LaSalle University and enjoyed a career in healthcare customer service. Danny loved taking to the water in his boat and was a longtime member of the Philadelphia Bass Busters Fishing Club.

Danny’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday January 2nd 2018 from 10:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 611 Knowles Ave. Southampton, PA. 18966. Interment will follow in the family plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.

Danny was a co-founder of the Nicholas House, a sober living facility that helps people struggling with addiction get back on their feet during early stages of recovery. Donations benefitting the Nicholas House can be sent to 18 Spruce Street, Ephrata PA 17522 with checks made payable to TNH Sober Living, LLC.
