Joseph P. Di Pasquale, of Doylestown, died suddenly on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Southern Ocean Medical Center. He was 74.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Giovanna Castagna Di Pasquale and brother of the late Michael Di Pasquale.

Joe graduated from Northeast Catholic High School and attended Temple University.  He joined the Marines and spent his 21st birthday on Paris Island. He later entered the car business and worked for Mercedes Benz for over 30 years.  He always said he would die with his boots on and had no plans to retire.  When not working hard, Joe loved to spend time on his boat at the Jersey Shore and fish.  He transitioned from passionate boatsman to devoted and loving grandfather quite easily.  He was an avid Eagles and Phillies supporter.  His sense of humor and loving nature will be dearly missed by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Ann McElwaine Di Pasquale, his daughter Beth Prokesch and her husband Michael of Coopersburg and his son Peter Di Pasquale and his wife Theresa of Dublin.  He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: Lauren Prokesch, Carter Prokesch, Brianna Di Pasquale, Mackenzie Di Pasquale and Payton Di Pasquale.

His service and interment were held privately in Doylestown Cemetery.
