Mary E. Peters, of Richboro, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 89.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Lerner Lukas and the sister of the late John Lukas.
Mary had a flair for the artistic; she was creative in several mediums including needle point and paints. She was an avid gardener with a strong interest in landscape design. She enjoyed holidays with her family and traveling with her husband. She particularly enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and visiting the Jersey shore.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years Walter F. Peters; her children Fred Peters and his wife Cheryl and Barbara Enwright and her husband John; her grandchildren, Jen, Lela, John, Mike and Dan; and her great grandchildren, Nate, Will, Gabriel, Sam, Paige, Jaycie, Ali and Jack.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wed. Dec. 13, 2017 from 9:00am until the start of Mary’s prayer service, 9:30am at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
