Constance D. Coffin of Warwick and formerly of Holland died peacefully surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 76.
Connie was the beloved wife of 54 years to Jay Coffin.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie Sokolowski Rosella and step daughter of the late Molly D’Allesandro Rosella.
Connie worked for many years with Sesame Place in Langhorne as a seamstress making and mending the various character costumes. She enjoyed playing cards with her ladies card club, swimming with the Mermaid Club at Heritage Creek, and vacationing with family and friends at the New Jersey Shore, Walt Disney World, and the many cruises she embarked on. Connie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and Mom Mom who took great pride in her beloved family. They were her greatest joy and source of entertainment. She will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to have loved her and been loved by her.
In addition to her husband Jay, she is survived by her loving children: Catherine Forbes, Patricia Koba, Christopher Coffin and his wife Roxanne, Connie Horn and her husband Robert, and John Coffin and his wife Colleen. She is also survived by her brother Joseph M. Rosella (Karen), step-brother Joseph D’Allesandro (Donna), 17 dear grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie’s family will receive friends on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:30am in St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
