Joseph S. Pindziak of Newtown died peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.  He was 75.

Joseph was the beloved husband of 48 years to Anne M. McGrody Pindziak.

Born in Philadephia, he was the son of Sophia Panikowska Pindziak and the late Joseph.

Joseph was a member of the graduation class of 1960 from Roman Catholic who went on to attend classes at LaSalle University while furthering his career for the U.S. Customs Office.  Joseph retired in 2003 as a U.S. Customs Inspector after a lifetime of dedicated service.  Joseph was a humble person who would stop at nothing to help the friends and family he loved and admired.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports team fan who also enjoyed singing and telling jokes with friends and family, but above all  cherished the times spent with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife Anne and his mother Sophia, Joseph is survived by his loving and devoted children and their spouses: Joseph M. Pindziak and Morayea of Yardley and Maureen A. Riley and Patrick of Doylestown.  He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren: Joseph L., Adam, and Jocelyn, his brother Walter Blichasz (Ruth), sisters: Kathleen Rosenzweig (Robert) and Mary Grant (David), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 10:30AM in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.jdrf.org or at 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004.
