Aurea C. Bareis most recently of Chalfont formerly of Holland died peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown. She was 93.
Born in Philadelphia, Aurea was the beloved wife of the late Fred L. Bareis, mother of the late Richard L. Bareis and was predeceased by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Aurea was a resident of Holland for over 52 years and was a faithful communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church and member of St. Bede Young at Heart Seniors. She was a graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls.
Aurea worked for the Budd Company during World War II as an Ammunition Assembler. She looked forward to being with her senior friends, traveling and playing cards.
Aurea is survived by her devoted son, James F. Bareis, her 2 dear grandchildren: Jamie Smith (Brian) and Jacklyn Bareis and 2 great grandchildren; Weston and Colton and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Bareis.
Aurea’s family will receive condolences on Thursday November 16, 2017 from 9:30 am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland 18966. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Bede the Venerable Church at the above address.
