Margaret Ruffing of Yardley, died peacefully after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was 63.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of Eleanor Stoyer Sweigard and the late Samuel.
Margaret graduated in 1972 from Neshaminy High School and worked for many years as a Medical Receptionist. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, surrounding herself with family, but she cherished the times she spent with her daughters and her grandson Markis. Margaret will be greatly missed, but she will be forever loved by everyone who had the pleasure to be in her life.
In addition to her mother Eleanor, Margaret is survived by her loving and devoted daughters; Amy Ruffing of Levittown and Laurie Ruffing of Yardley and her dear grandson Markis Rogers. She is also survived by her long time companion Ronald Snyder, her former husband and father of her daughters Robert Ruffing, sisters Ginny Spadaccino (Carmen) and Mary Shirakawa (Steve), brother Fred Sweigard (Debbie) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Margaret’s family will receive friends on Thursday evening, November 9, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 1:00PM until her Memorial Service 2:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.
