John J. Kintsch of Ann’s Choice, Warminster, PA and formerly of Churchville, PA passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 He was 90.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Fox Chase in his early life, he was the husband to his beloved wife of 67 years, the late Lorraine A. Patton Kintsch; son of the late John and Susan Kintsch; and brother of Mary E. Wehr.

John was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy, in the Atlantic and Pacific Theatre and he was an alumnus from the 1950 graduating class at LaSalle University.

John is survived by his devoted children, Kathleen Lezotte (Tom), John J. Kintsch, Jr., and James T. Kintsch.  He was the loving grandfather, affectionately known as “Poppy” to Maria Reilly (Billy), Michelle Pollock (Brian), Jeffrey Kintsch (Katie), Cara Kent (Eric), Jillian Colangelo (Nick), Craig Lezotte (Julie), Christopher, Matthew, and Emily Kintsch, and the great grandfather of Brady, Karleigh, Gavin, Gia, Liana, William IV, Nolan, Declan, and Julian.

John’s family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 9:00am until his Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro, PA 18954.  Entombment will follow in Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Ann’s Choice Benevolent Care Fund, 20000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
