Janice Walker Egan of Holland died peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at her home. She was 88.

Born in Philadelphia, Janice was the beloved wife of the late Philip M. Egan and devoted mother of the late Janice H. Egan.

Janice was a resident of Bucks County since 1983 and a resident of Holland for the past 13 years. She was a graduate of Abington High School and received her degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Janice was the consummate homemaker and Mother, her family came first, she nurtured her children, shared her culinary talents and gardening skills to her family. Showed them what a green thumb was and shared family canning and special recipes. After her late husband died she got her real estate license and worked for several years selling real estate. She also gave her time and talents and was a volunteer for St. Mary Medical Center, community out reach programs. Janice will be sadly missed by her caring and devoted family and friends.  

Janice is survived by her loving daughters:, Linda Ann Pierce  and her husband Gregory, Susan Marie O’Neil, Mary Louise Blauner and her husband Peter, VMD and Patricia Michele Egan. She is also survived by her brother and his wife Harold Walker, Jr. and his wife Jane. Janice was the cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 3.

Janice’s family will receive condolences on Monday November 6, 2017 from 12 noon until her Funeral Services at 1:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will be in private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust St. Phila, PA 19103 or the National Parks Conservation Association, 777 6th St  NW Washington, DC 20001.
