JoAnn E. Rapp of Richboro died peacefully on Monday October 30, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She was 70.

She was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Fred E. Rapp and daughter of the late John and Josephine Owens Suran.

Born in Philadelphia JoAnn was a graduate of St. Hubert’s High School for Girls, class of 1965.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years for a manufacturing company in entertainment products. In the past year JoAnn worked for the Council Rock School District in the cafeteria at Newtown Elementary school.

JoAnn was a loving mother and a doting grandmother who cherished her granddaughters, as they made her eyes sparkle when they came to visit. She will be sadly missed for her warm smile and caring manner.

JoAnn is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law; Jason E. Rapp and Jennifer of Perkasie and her 3 dear granddaughters Leighann, Emma, and Madison.

JoAnn’s family will receive condolences on Friday November 3, 2017 from 6:00 PM until Words of Remembrance at 7:30PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  Interment will be Private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
