Gloria Tedone of Doylestown and formerly of Bronx, NY and a long time resident of Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Doylestown Hospital.  She was 88.

Gloria was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Dominick Tedone.

Born in Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Rose Federici Galioto.

Gloria learned at the young age of 17 the importance of family, tasked with helping to raise her brother and sister and later her own son and daughter.  To Gloria her steadfast devotion to her family was the most important thing in life.  She was hard working and took great pride in caring for her home and cooking unforgettable family meals.  She will be dearly missed as a loving mother, sister, and grandmother, affectionately known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “GG”.

Surviving are Gloria’s children, Thomas Tedone and Stephanie D’Arrigo and her husband Noel; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, and Christopher; her great-grandchildren, Matthew & Tyler; and her brother, John Galioto (the late Betty); and her brother in law, Bob Russo.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carole Russo.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901 and on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 8:15 AM until her Funeral Mass 9:15 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902.  Her interment will follow at 1:00 PM in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Doylestown Health Foundation RN Scholarship Fund, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
