Carol J. Dengler passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her home. She was 74.

Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Fundenell Kusmaul.

Carol graduated from Central Bucks High School and went on to lead a long career as a legal secretary.  She was employed first by The Law Offices of Smith & Toner and was most recently working for Sweet, Stevens, Katz, & Williams, LLP in New Britain.

To say that Carol was steadfastly devoted to her church and her faith would be an understatement.  She was a dedicated member of Hilltown Baptist Church for her entire life.  Carol was a Sunday School teacher, led countless Bible Studies, and was proud to help lead the congregation in song as a member of the Church choir.

Carol was a huge fan of both college and professional football, enjoyed gardening, and hunting.  She was a devoted mother, coach for her children’s sports teams, a dedicated “Band Mom” and the list goes on and on.  Most of all, Carol will be missed as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.  She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are Carol’s children, Kimberly Hickson and her husband, Chris and Scott Dengler and his wife, Kelly.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Alaina and Milliah Hickson; her brother, Ronald Kusmaul and his wife, Flo; and her sisters, Beverly Large and her husband, Norman, and Joyce Witmer and her husband, Robert.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 9:30 AM until her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Hilltown Baptist Church, 26 Upper Church Rd., Chalfont, PA 18914.  Her interment will follow in Mechanicsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol’s name may be made to Hilltown Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1, Hilltown, PA 18927.
