Margie E. “Betty” Castelli passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home at New Seasons of New Britain, PA. She was 94.
Margie was the loving wife of the late Frank E. Castelli.
Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Fay C. (Apmeyer) Glass.
Betty was a graduate of William Penn High School. Prior to her marriage she became a member of the Catholic faith through St. Joan of Arc Church, where they remained faithful parishoners for many years. Betty was an avid reader and also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Monticello Chapter DCDAR.
Most of all, Betty was fiercely devoted to her family and will be dearly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Marcia L. Guzauskas and her husband, Jim and Gregory E. Castelli and his wife, Ginny. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Andria, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Victoria and her great-grandson, Nicolas. Betty was also eagerly anticipating the arrival of her second great-grandchild.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1:00 PM until her Funeral Mass 1:30 PM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey, PA 17033. Her interment will follow in Hershey Cemetery.
