William C. Guenzel of Levittown and formerly of Newtown and Huntingdon Valley passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice. He was 91. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA Bill was the beloved husband of the late Lois E. Kelly Guenzel and the son of the late Herman A. and Louise H. Rissmann Guenzel. 

Bill was a Gunner’s Mate in the U.S. Navy During World War II and served in the South Pacific Theater during the war.  Prior to his retirement, Bill was employed as an Engineer and Manager by Strick Trailers and Theurer Trailers.  He was a Licensed Airplane Pilot and Ham Radio operator (K3MJP).  Bill was also an avid fisherman, skier, kayaker, and golfer, but he truly enjoyed any outdoor activity. 

Bill is survived by his loving children Mark Guenzel and his wife Debra of Levittown, Kathy Murray and her husband Ralph of Newark, DE, He was also the proud Opa of Erika, Karl, and Emilee. 

William’s family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19^th from 11:00am until his Funeral Service 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, Pa 18954. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the favorite charity of the donor.
