Heather Anne Pater of Doylestown passed away peacefully, following a courageous 4 year battle with brain cancer, on Friday, October 6, 2017 with her loving mother and family by her side. She was 28.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the caring and devoted daughter of Susanne Moore Pater.

Heather graduated from Central Bucks East High School where she excelled in academics and was an All-American cheerleader. She went on to earn her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Penn State University.  Following Penn State, she was employed in clinical research for Johns Hopkins University.  Most recently she was serving as Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was also pursuing her Master’s Degree in Social Work.

To say that Heather was driven would be an understatement.  Throughout her cancer treatments she was determined to live life to the fullest. She was a self-proclaimed movie buff, enjoyed the shore and loved being with her friends. She had a smile and sparkle in her eye that could light up a room and possessed a quick wit and a sense of humor that always gave those around her a laugh. Heather was beautiful, intelligent and caring. She always put her family and friends first and her smile and charisma will be simply impossible to forget. She will be overwhelmingly missed by all.

In addition to her mother (Susanne), Heather is survived by her sister Stephanie Pater Terreri (Andrew) and her brother Ryan Pater.  She also leaves behind her grandmother, Rita B. Moore (the late William J.); her aunts and uncles, William J. Moore, Jr., Marianne Duffy, Michael Moore (Rachel), and Rita Rotondo (Peter); her cousins, Shamus, Jacob, Dylan, Lily, Isabella, Dennis, and Will as well as a host of extended relatives and countless friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Heather’s family on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901, and on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, Pa 18902 from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Her interment will be private.
