Marion M. Walters-Wood of Richboro, PA died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 77.

Marion was the beloved wife of 58 years to Thomas J. Wood Jr.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marion Schneider Walters, sister to late John Walters and loving mother of the late Thomas J. Wood III. In addition to her husband Tom, Marion is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Brian Wood and Deborah of Warrington and Cheryl Andreoli and Damon of Richboro. She is also survived by her 5 dear grandchildren Samantha, Brian Jr., Stephanie, Thomas and Damon Jr.

Marion was born in Philadelphia, raised in Kensington, graduated from Frankford High School in the 1950s and was a resident of Bucks County for the past 51 years.

Marion was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved cooking for family and friends, Wildwood in the summers, hanging by the backyard pool, going on cruises and especially decorating and entertaining during the holiday season. She enjoyed following her grandchilden’s sporting activities. She loved watching her children becoming adults and parents and often posted their accomplishments. She will be missed by many but none more than her loving husband Tom.

Marion’s family will receive friends on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 4:00PM until her Memorial Service 6:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Interment will be private.
