James was a dedicated Mason and Shriner for more than sixty years, and he was a proud union member who also served as president of his local union.

James is survived by his loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law James R. Goodbody and Mary K., his dear granddaughters: Jennifer Brenlla (George) and Catherine Levesque (Christopher) and his great grandchildren Alexander, Olivia, Ryan, and Matthew.
