Robert C. Long, Jr of Croydon, PA died peacefully on Saturday, March 29th surrounded by his loving family at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 46.

Born in Toms River, NJ, Robert was the son of Robert C., Sr. and Janet V. Serad Long, the husband of Heather Buchler Long, and the devoted father of Alexandria.

Robert owned and operated Checkered Flag Auto Sales in Croydon and American Veterans Company LLC in Bensalem. He was also a member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 542. Robert enjoyed traveling with friends and family to many exciting destinations, but his favorite was Jamaica where he would stay with the locals in the smaller towns and enjoy life. He lived life to the fullest and had many friends and family members who loved him. Robert had a natural talent throughout his life of astonishing sporting abilities. He will be greatly missed for the awesome person that everyone has come to know and love.

In addition to his wife, daughter, and parents, Robert is survived by his sisters; Tracy A. Moser and her Husband Thomas of New Hope, and Gina M. Accardo and her husband Tony of Bensalem; his nieces Tiffany and Bianca, and his nephew Thomas, Jr.

Robert’s family will receive friends on Friday, April 4th from 9:30am until his Memorial Mass 11:00am at St. Ephrem Church, 5340 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem, PA 19020.

Interment will be private.
