James M. Griffin, “Big Jim”, of Jamison went to be home with his Lord and Savior on Monday September 25, 2017. He was 68.

Jim was the beloved husband of 44 years to Colleen M. Cush Griffin.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Jane Stearne Griffin.

Jim was a former resident of Richboro for over 30 years before moving to Jamison. He was a Christian and a member of the Calvary Chapel in Philadelphia. A proud veteran, he had served in the United States Marine Corps and in his leisure had enjoyed his kids, grandkids, friends and playing golf.

In addition to his wife Colleen, he is survived by his children, James F. Griffin and his wife April of Abingdon, MD, Dawne M. Smith and her husband Geoff of Fleetwood, PA and Kevin P. Griffin of Newtown. He is also survived by his brother Raymond Griffin of Ambler, his sister, Jane Murphy of Hatboro and his 6 cherished grandchildren, Kaylee, Raegan, Teagan, Kyler, Morgen and Madison.

Relatives and friends are invited to offer their condolences on Saturday, September 30th from 10:00am until his Memorial Service 11:00am in the Calvary Chapel,   13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116 . Jim’s interment will be private.
