Kevin McNamara of Newtown died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Bellefonte, PA. He was 57.

Born in Chester, PA, he was the husband of Tammy Ditcher McNamara. Son of the late Donald J. and Frances Jakubczyk McNamara and step-father of the late Jeffrey L. Kenny, and uncle of the late Timothy McNamara, Jr.

Kevin was born and raised in Delaware County, graduated from Sun Valley High School, Aston, PA. Kevin had a passion for sports he enjoyed playing softball, he could hardly wait for the Eagles and Phillies seasons to begin. Kevin loved to cook, especially crabs and showing off his culinary skills.

Kevin is survived by his step-children; Jason C. Kenny, Jaime B. James and her husband Rodney, his brother and sister Timothy McNamara and his wife Monica, and Colleen Schwartz and her husband Donald, he is also survived by his dear grandchildren, Ally and Aubrey, along with several nieces and nephews; Rhiannon and Stephanie McNamara and Matthew and Taylor Schwartz.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Kevin’s family on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1:00pm until his memorial service 2:30pm  at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will be held privately.
