Helen A. Serdenis, formerly a long-time Ft. Myers resident passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 in Jamison, Pennsylvania. She was 89. 

Helen was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late James George Serdenis. 

Born and raised in Detroit, MI she was a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Skarbinski Kusiorski.  Helen worked for 38 years for Ford Motor Company and then The Ford Foundation. She retired to Florida for 28 years before settling down in Jamison, PA.

She will be dearly missed as a loving sister, aunt, and friend to many. 

Helen is survived by her sister, Joan Mekanik, niece and nephews, Paula Conzelman, Michael Mekanik, and Steven Mekanik; as well as, countless great-nieces and nephews. 

Helen’s services will be held privately in Pennsylvania. 

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
