Anne P. "Nancy" Bachich Marcinkevich of Warminster went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 25, 2017, surrounded by her family at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington. She was 76.
Nancy was born in Philadelphia on September 16, 1940, to the late Michael and Anna (Lenehan) Norris.
She is survived by her loving children, Bernadette Repisky (Pavel), Helene Dunn (Thomas) and Ronald Bachich; nine grandchildren, Philip, Morgan, Claire, Nicole, Andrew, Tyler, Shane, Colette and Logan; and her sisters, Mary Henry (William) of Philadelphia, and Joan Keating (Robert) of Freeland, PA, and many nieces and nephews, as well as daughter-in-law Kelly Bachich. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Marcinkevich.
Nancy was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. She valued Catholic education and sent her children to Nativity of Our Lord School and Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster.
Upon her graduation from high school, Nancy worked as a legal secretary for attorney James E. Beasley, Sr., in the city. She retired as a Customer Service Representative for FedEx, but her most rewarding work, other than her years as a Stay At Home Mom, was working in the Wood Boys' cafeteria as the "French Fry Lady." She loved the high-energy, friendly environment and the kids.
Nancy celebrated her Irish heritage and was able to visit the homeland several times. She loved to decorate for every holiday and occasion, and gather family and friends around the table. She gardened, loved all of God's creatures, and never failed to take in a stray.
As a Mother and Mom Mom, she was an ardent supporter of her children and grandchildren, attending their many sports and activities (with camera in hand!).
Her family is thankful for and appreciates the wonderful care she received by Solana, Neshaminy Manor and Caring Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday September 2, 2017, from 9 a.m. until her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, PA, 18976. Her interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to the SPCA of Bucks County, the Alzheimer's Association or to the AWHS Scholarship Fund, ATTN: Gary Zimmaro, 655 York Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. A scholarship will be established in her name.
