Margaret A. “Peggy” Dougherty of Langhorne passed away at her home on Saturday August 26, 2017 with her loving husband and family by her side.  She was 56.

Peggy was the loving wife of Joseph J. Dougherty.

Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of John S. Kernan and the late Margaret Custer Kernan and the loving mother of the late Michael J. Dougherty.

Peggy loved music, especially David Bowie and Bob Dylan.  She also enjoyed caring for the family pets and countless trips to her family’s farm in Hallstead, PA, especially during the fall season.  Although Peggy enjoyed these and many other things, family was by far the most important thing to her.  She was tirelessly devoted to caring for her husband and their sons and will be dearly missed as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.

In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by her sons, Jason, Brian, Andrew, and Dylan Dougherty; her brothers, John, Michael, and Mark Kernan and her sister, Jane Kernan.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday August 31, 2017 from 9:30 AM until her funeral mass 11:00 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966.  Her interment will be private.
