William Petsis of Warminster and formerly a long time resident of Holland passed away with his family by his side on Friday, August 25, 2017 at his home. He was 87.

William was the beloved husband of Joann C. Falkenstein Petsis.  In November of this year the two would have celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia he was a son of the late Peter and Olympia Hassis Petsis and was preceded in death by several siblings.

Bill attended Drexel University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.  He led a long career, working hard to be a good provider for his wife and children.  Bill had a great love of music, especially jazz, classical, and opera and enjoyed sharing that appreciation with his friends and family.  Along with his wife, he enjoyed visiting the race track and enjoyed countless trips to Atlantic City.  Bill was quick witted, generous, a lover of animals, and fiercely devoted to those he loved.  He will be dearly missed as a devoted husband, father, uncle, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife Bill is survived by his children, Amy Petsis and Jeffrey Petsis and his wife, Angela.  He also leaves behind several surviving siblings and countless nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 9:00 AM until his Memorial Service at 9:45 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment with Military Honors will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army, 615 Slaters Lane, Alexandria, VA 22314.
