Carol Ann Dragon of Holland died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown surrounded by her loving family. She was 78.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Dragon.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Bodnar Elias.

Carol was a long time resident of Holland. She was a graduate of Arizona State University and taught in France, California and Bristol Township for 38 years. Carol traveled all over Europe and enjoyed spending time in Florida and the Jersey Shore where she would try to swim and walk daily. She played the piano and sang in the church choir and gave generously of her time and consideration with the Meals on Wheels program. Carol volunteered her time as an usher at the Walnut Theatres and attended many opera’s in New York and also in Sarasota, Florida. She will be truly missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

Carol is survived by her brother Robert Alexander Elias of Seaside Park, NJ  and her sisters, Bonita “Bonnie” Porczynski of Florida,  Nancy Rowe and Patricia “Patty” Foreman, both of Seaside Park, NJ. She is also survived by nephews, Theodore and Timothy Porczynski and James Johnathan, Michael Rowe and David Elias and her niece Jeanne Elias along with her 6 great nephews and 3 great nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Monday, August 28th at 11:00am in the Barn Chapel at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. Carol’s entombment will follow immediately in the Shrine Cemetery.
