Ruthanne J. Morris of Holland died peacefully on Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was 86.

Ruthanne was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Morris.

Born in Penndel, PA, she was daughter of the late Raymond K. and Frida W. Peterson Johnson, sister of the late Barbara Hartley, and cousin of the late Diane Gerth.

Ruthie was trained as a legal secretary with impeccable skills. After raising two children, she was employed at Gould in Langhorne. Later she was an employee and officer at The Sherwood Group, Ltd prior to retirement.

Ruthie was a fastidious house keeper, taking pride in her home with everything needing to be “just-so”. Her attention to detail was evident in everything she did.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, sewing and ceramics, reaching the level of Certified Duncan Ceramic Instructor.

Ruthie was a friend to all that knew her, considering her neighbors and friends as family. If everyone was as caring as Ruth…the world would be better place.

Ruthanne is survived by her sons: Matthew P. Morris and his wife Celeste; R. Lawrence Morris and his wife Michelle and her grandchildren Michael, Steven, and Alli.

Ruthanne’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23rd   from 6:00pm until her Memorial Service 7:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Interment will be private.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street Philadelphia, PA 19103.
