Florence E. Hejnar, of Feasterville, PA died on April 3, 2014, at Manor Care, Yardley. She was 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late Martin F. Hejnar, mother of the late Elizabeth and Marie and sister of the late Victor Osmola.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Matuszak Osmola.

Florence has been a resident of Feasterville, since 1950.

She was a founding member of the Assumption BVM Church in Feasterville and she fondly remembered the early days of bingo, covered dish luncheons and making bows for the girls’ uniforms. Her faith was an important part of her life. Florence also enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, the Eternal Word Television Network and Hallmark movies.

Florence left behind a legacy of caring for those in need. She lovingly cared for her mother and husband when they were ill. She also provided daycare for her grandchildren, which she said kept her young.

She is survived by her children Monica and Paul Prudente of Slatington, PA, Martin G. Hejnar of Feasterville, and Theresa and William Helkowski of Levittown. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings, Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 7:00 pm — 9:00 pm and on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 8:30 AM to 10:30AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM, at Assumption BVM Church, Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville. Her interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards would be appreciated by the family.
