Sally M. Heveran of Lansdale died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Dock Woods Living Branches Community in Lansdale surrounded by her loving family. She was 89.

Sally was the beloved wife of the late John M. Heveran, mother of the late Jeanne M. Miller and sister of the late James Spanfeller Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, Sally was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Dorothy Breslin Spanfeller.

Sally was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Horsham and Jenkintown. In 2012, she eventually moved to the Dock Woods Living Branches Community in Lansdale. In her leisure, she enjoyed floral arranging, knitting, gardening and reading. Her true joy in life was the quality times spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The memories that she fostered will be cherished for generations.

Sally is survived by her children Kate Nellett (Marc), Barbara Burke (Lawrence) and Michael J. Heveran (Helen) her sister in law Patricia Spanfeller and son in law Reed Rick.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Dustin, Shannon, Kolleen, Meghan, John, Beth Ann, Brittany, Maria, John, Paul, Grace and Anna and her 5 great-grandchildren, Chastyn, Will, Rylan, Tanner and Zac.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings, Wednesday, August 2nd from 6:00-8:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and on Thursday August 3rd from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Rd. Horsham, PA 19044. Sally’s interment will follow in interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Little Flower HS Class of 1946 or Dock Woods Benevolent Care Fund.
