Albert Jerome McGlynn passed away on July 4, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the Son of the late Albert J. and Marie (nee Saffran).
In 2016 Jerry retired from his position as Operations Research Analyst at the Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division. Jerry was an internationally recognized expert for air-to-air missile technical development, tactics, and counter-counter measures. Jerry was recognized by the U.S. Navy for his significant achievements analyzing air-to-air weapons systems effectiveness and operations.
Jerry is survived by his cousins, A. Klair McGlynn Filarsky, Edwin McGlynn, Stephen McGlynn, John Gottsman, Robert Gottsman, Janet Brooks, Bernadette McGlynn, Marie McKeaney, and Carol Erhardt.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Timothy Church, 3001 Levick St., Phila., 19149. His interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
