Isabella V. Vos, of Doylestown, died peacefully on July 3, 2017 at Briarleaf Nursing and Convalescent Home. She was 78.

Isabella was the beloved wife of the late Zenophon G. Tomaras and the late Jack Vos.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Philip and Virginia Atkinson Fiscella.

Isabella got her teaching degree and was part of an exchange program in Cambridge, England.  She was a retired elementary school teacher in New Jersey.

She traveled extensively with both her husbands and after surviving breast cancer went on to become an LPN. Isabella volunteered for many years as a hospice nurse.

Two of her biggest passions were being a carriage driver in New Hope, PA.  Isabella loved the horses and would delight in wondering the streets of New Hope with visitors.  Her second passions were Bloomingdales (bloomies) and Talbots.  Those of us who knew her would smile in delight after a full day of shopping.

Isabella loved her friends. She had long friendships, and would enjoy their company often.  She was quite the entertainer.  She will be missed.

Isabella is survived by her two sisters; Patricia Roberts of Edgewater, Maryland and Jane Van Horn of Kimberling City, Missouri, her one brother James R. and Rosemary Fiscella of Overland Park, Kansas and a step-daughter Barbara A. Tomaras of Doylestown, step-son Thomas G Tomaras of Abilene TX, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to United Way of Bucks County, 413 Wood Boulevard, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. www.uwbucks.org.
