Florence K. Cuerou of Lansdale passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Holland on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She was 94.

Florence was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Cuerou who predeceased her on December 14, 1983.

Born in Riverdale, New York and raised in Howard Beach, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Florence Weinheimer Shea.

Florence was very active in the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Greenlawn, NY where she was Co-Director of the CCD program for twenty years and was also a Girl Scout leader for her three daughters. In 1995, she re-located to Lansdale where she was very active in the Central Bucks Senior Center and St. Jude’s Senior Center. Florence was a communicant of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in North Wales and will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

          Florence is survived by her loving children Lorraine R. Creely (Raymond A.) of Falls Church, VA, Paul F. Cuerou (Catherine U.) of Pipersville,  Adrianne R. Wright (Richard G.) of Holland, and Claudia R. Blandi (Anthony G.) of Mamaroneck, NY. Florence is also survived by her 9 cherished grandchildren, Matthew Baxter (Colleen), Sean Cuerou(Erin), Brian Wright (Laura), Michael Cuerou, Andrew J. Wright, Thomas Blandi, Stephen Wright, Catherine Cuerou and Eric Creely and her 2 great grandchildren Mackenzie and Samantha Baxter.

          Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and on Saturday, July 1, 2017  in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd, Holland, PA 18966 f rom 9:00AM until her Funeral Mass 10:00AM. Florence’s interment will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11:30AM at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing, New York.
