Dolores M. Quinn of Doylestown passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 with her loving husband and family by her side at Jefferson University Hospital.  She was 81.

Dolores was the loving and devoted wife of Robert H. Quinn.  The two would have celebrated 62 years of marriage in November.

Born in Hartford, CT she was the daughter of the late Walter and Madeline (Bolecek) Supina.

Dolores was raised in Penns Park, PA.  A graduate of Council Rock High School, she went on to earn her Associate’s degree from West Chester University.  Dolores was very involved in her local community.  She was an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels for 22 years, and with music being an important part of her life, she was a member of the Joyful Singers who helped to brighten the days of local nursing home residents with their performances.  Dolores had also fostered countless friendships through her involvement in water aerobics at the Doylestown YMCA.  She loved to play the piano and adored the opera and classical music.

Devoted to her faith, Dolores was an active and long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Most of all, she will be remembered for her huge heart and gentle spirit.  She never had a bad word to say about anyone and will be missed as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.  She made every meal from scratch and was a talented cook and fabulous hostess.  If you were a guest in her home, you could count on being well fed.  She understood that true wealth came from loving others.  She exemplified selflessness by sacrificing much for her family and friends.   In the dictionary, next to the word, kindness-you will see her name-Dolores Quinn.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her six children: Gregory Quinn, Carol Marzano, David Quinn and his wife, Erin, Steven Quinn and his wife, Brenda, Lawrence Quinn, and Christopher Quinn and his wife, Karen.  She is also survived by her eight grandchildren:  Daniel, Jessica, Julie, Brendon, Brenna, Maxwell, Connor and Lauren and her brothers, Walter Supina, Louis Supina and his wife, Mary, Paul Supina and his wife, Frances, and Robert Supina and his wife, Gail.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Sean.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.  Her interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Newtown.
