Janet S. (nee Spies) Lynch, Esq. of Yardley, PA passed peacefully on June 20th, 2017.
Janet was born in Passaic, NJ and was a 1976 graduate of Wood-Ridge HS where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Janet went on to attend Douglass College where she graduated with a BA in Political Science in 1980. After college, Janet went on to Seton Hall Law School, where she was a managing editor of the Law Review. She graduated in 1984 with cum laude honors and was admitted to the N.J. Bar Association that same year. From 1984 to 1991 Janet worked for Stryker, Tams, and Dill in Newark, NJ, where her specialty was Trust and Estates. Janet and her family moved to Bucks County, PA in 1993, living in Richboro, Ivyland, and most recently in Yardley.
Janet’s greatest joy was being a mother to her three sons. She was an active supporter of the schools her sons attended joining the Mother’s Club at both St. Katherine Drexel Regional School and LaSalle College High School. Janet was also active in the LaSalle Touchdown Club serving as both its Treasurer and Vice President. For the past six years, Janet has been associated with the law firm of Charles G. Cheleden, Esq. in Doylestown, PA.
In her spare time Janet enjoyed being with family in Avalon, NJ, traveling with family and friends and showing off her creative knitting skills. Janet’s memory and smile will be cherished forever by her dear family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Mark R. Lynch, and her sons Michael C. Lynch (Simrit), Matthew J. Lynch (Jillyan), Kevin R. Lynch. Loving daughter of Madeline Danza Spies (late Eugene Spies), dear sister of Gary Spies (Karen), and Glenn Spies (Lauri), dear grandmother of Declan, also survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Lucille and Harry Lynch and sister-in-law Deborah Kalter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and on Monday at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland from 9:30 am until her Funeral Mass 11:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Janet S. Lynch Scholarship c/o of St. Katherine Drexel Regional School, 1079 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966.
