Francis R. Loftus of New Hope died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Buckingham. He was 86.

Frank was the beloved husband of 58 years to Regina M. Hand Loftus.

Frank was the 12th of 13 children who was born in Jessup, PA to the late Edward and Frances Campbell Loftus.

Frank was a great character and loved growing up with his large family in Jessup, PA.  After a few years in the Army, he moved to the big city of Philadelphia. There, with only a high school education, he rose through the ranks and eventually retired as the Vice President of PNC Bank. Frank enjoyed his retirement walking and cycling and spending time with his family on the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Doylestown and will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his beloved wife Regina, Frank is survived by his children, Timothy Loftus and his wife Bernadette of Perkasie, Francis Loftus and his wife Suzanne of Churchville and Kelly Richards and her husband Bob of Newtown. Frank is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Flannery of Dunmore, his cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Paul), Nicholas, Katherine and Erin, his great granddaughter Sofia along with his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, June 16th from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902. Frank’s Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
