Robert Charles Weber, Sr., of Philadelphia, PA, and Delray Beach, FL, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday May 26, 2017.  He was 86. 

Mr. Weber was born in Philadelphia on October 3, 1930 and was the son of William F. Weber, Sr., and Bertha Estelle Bartlett Weber of Philadelphia and Sea Isle City, NJ. 

He was the husband of Lynn Berke (Eitler) Weber of Chalfont and Doylestown, PA, and Fairmont, WV, to whom he was married for 30 years.  He was preceded in death by his former wife, Alice Faber Weber.

Mr. Weber graduated from Overbrook High School where he excelled in baseball, football, and basketball.  While he was completing his engineering studies at Drexel University, he life guarded at Sea Isle City, NJ.   He completed his Civil Engineering degree and held Professional Engineering licenses in several states.

After completing his apprenticeship training program with the Schuykill River Project, he worked for Franklin and Lindsey Engineers, Baldwin Lima Hamilton Corporation, and Sinclair Refining Company.  He then entered the U. S. Army from 1955 to 1963 obtaining the rank of Sergeant.

He began his corporate career with Penn Mutual Insurance and ultimately became the President and CEO of Indepro Corporation, their Real Estate Syndication Division. Mr. Weber was affiliated with the Building Owners and Managers Association of Philadelphia (BOMA) for several years serving as Vice-President, President, and Mid-Atlantic Regional President. He also worked for S. T. Hudson International, a forensic engineering company.  He coordinated the opening of their Colorado, California, and Texas offices.

Bob was a founder and CEO of National Forensic Consultants, Inc., in Norristown, PA, and Technical Advisors, Inc., until he officially retired in 2007.  He was actively involved with his churches and was on the Board of Directors for Pennridge Full Gospel Tabernacle in Blooming Glen, Worldwide Evangelical Ministries in Philadelphia, and New Life Christian Center in Jamison.

In addition to his wife Lynn, he is survived by three children – Robert C. Weber, Jr., (Linda), of Lincoln University, PA; Richard A. Weber (Barbara) of Chester Heights, PA; and Gail Weber Grady (Joseph) of West Chester, PA.  He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his two stepchildren, William S. Eitler who resides at home and Stephanie Eitler Araujo (Jorge) of San Antonio, TX; his brother William F. Weber, Jr., (the late Alice) of St., Petersburg Beach, FL; his nephew William F. Weber III (Nancy) and niece Ruth McLauchlin of St. Petersburg Beach, FL.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law Jim Faber (Marge), and sisters-in-law Sandy Wood (Don), Nancy Zavorski (Paul), Darlene Cappa (Joseph), and Wendy Dreyer (Ed).

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901 and on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Hopewell Christian Fellowship, 601 Hunsicker Rd., Telford, PA 18969 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.  His entombment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
