Grace Slick (Sheridan)
Grace M. Slick of Horsham died peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017 at her residence. She was 71.
Grace was the beloved wife of 52 years to Harry C. Slick.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the Charles J. and Madeline Dietz Sheridan and mother of the late Harry L. Slick.
Grace worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for various manufacturing firms in the area. She enjoyed ceramics with friends, canning vegetables for family, enjoying times spent at the shore points of New Jersey, but she treasured the time she spent with her beloved family and her dear grandchildren. Grace will be greatly missed but she will be loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to call her a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
In addition to her husband Harry, Grace is survived by her loving and devoted children: Charles Slick of Horsham and Christine Slick of Galloway Township, NJ, her sisters Betty Ann Konapka and Patricia Cook. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Madeline, Melanie, Tiffany, Charles, and Marissa.
Services and Interment will be conducted privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3400 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104.
