Mary S. “Susan” Ward of New Britain passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was 79. 

Born in Hanover, PA she was the daughter of the late J. Roger and Leona May Hamm Trostle. 

Susan graduated from Eichelberger High School and went on to earn her Bachelors degree in Music from Lebanon Valley College.  She was an incredibly talented musician and the owner and operator of Heartstrings Entertainment. 

She will be remembered for her talent, her warmth, and for inspiring the countless people through her music and teaching.  She will be dearly missed. 

Susan is survived by her children, Jeffrey Alan Bell (Tina), Kathy Sue Ermigiotti (Mark), and Scott Andrew Bell (Suzanne) and her grandchildren, Brett, Sydney, Max, Hana, Macy, Reid, and Ava. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don and Bill Trostle. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Saturday, May 20 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Doylestown, PA 18901, followed by a time to greet the family.  Her interment will be private.
