Margaret V. Dougherty of Ivyland died Monday, May 8, 2017 at Ann’s Choice in Warminster. She was 93.

Margaret was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Kennedy, William J. Benz and James Dougherty.

Born in Philadelphia, Margaret was the daughter of August and Elva Brown Hiller and the Mother of the late Joseph Benz.

Margaret was a former resident of Northeast Philadelphia, Churchville and Avalon, NJ before moving to Ann’s Choice in Warminster. Throughout the years, she was an active Communicant at St. Albert the Great Church and St. Vincent de Paul Church. Margaret was an Executive Secretary with Smith Edwards Dunlap from 1973 until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of various clubs in Avalon, NJ and in her leisure enjoyed gardening and playing bridge.  Margaret will be truly missed by her family and by all who came to know and love her.

Margaret is survived by her children, Virginia Beckert , William J. Benz Esq.  and his wife Donna, Christopher M. Benz and his wife Robyn and Matthew W. Benz and his wife Kathleen. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am on Friday, May 12th in St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929. Margaret’s interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.
